Nobuya "Nobby" Yoshida
Chief Executive Officer
Nobby Yoshida is a proven, international executive and has achieved excellent results at several global companies. Nobby has been a member of our Board of Directors since 2002. Currently, Nobby is an Advisor to SoftBank Investment Corporation, a publicly traded investment company in Japan. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of TransDigital Corporation, a publicly traded Japanese technology company. Prior to that Nobby co-founded CyberLink Japan, a subsidiary of CyberLink Corporation, a world leader in advanced digital video and audio software. Nobby also served as the General Manager and subsequently a board director at Trend Micro in Japan, a publicly traded security software company (NASDAQ: TMIC). Nobby holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles.

Alan Shoap
Chief Operating Officer
Alan Shoap brings more than 20 years of enterprise software expertise in product management, software engineering, and staff operations to IPLocks. Alan was most recently Vice President of Operations for Blazent, Inc., and prior to that was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Euclid, Inc. His past management experience includes operating and product-related executive roles at Borland, Cendura, iSharp Corporation and Compuware. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Adrian Lane
Chief Technology Officer
Adrian Lane is responsible for shaping the technology vision for future generations of IPLocks' solutions and operations. Mr. Lane a 19-year industry veteran, specializes in database architecture and security, having worked for Ingres, Oracle and Unisys. Prior to joining IPLocks, Adrian was the Vice President of Engineering at Touchpoint, an on-line marketing firm where he was responsible for all software development and ERP deployment. Mr. Lane spent three years as the CTO of the on-line brokerage CPMi, and two years as the CTO of the security software and digital rights management firm Brodia. Mr. Lane is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with post-graduate work in operating systems at Stanford University.

Edward Kam
Controller and Corporate Secretary
Edward Kam has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting in the high-tech and financial industries. Prior to joining IPLocks as Controller, Mr. Kam was the Controller at SeeItFirst.com where he was responsible for worldwide accounting, finance and legal. In addition, Mr. Kam has held various analytical, managerial and business development positions at GE Capital and Bank of Hawaii. Mr. Kam holds Bachelor Degrees in Finance and Computer Science and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a MBA in International Business.

Jane Zhu, Ph.D.
Vice President, Engineering
Dr. Jane Zhu is responsible for leading all aspects of product development and product support at IPLocks. Dr. Zhu brings with her more than 15 years of leadership experience in enterprise software and application development. Dr. Zhu most recently served as Vice President of Engineering for Borland where she led significant and rapid expansion of their Requirement Definition and Management product line, and Application Middleware product line. Prior to Borland, Dr. Zhu held senior management positions at both Crescendos and Compuware. In these roles, she was instrumental in the creation of next generation of service center application and network application monitoring technologies. Dr. Zhu holds a B.S and an M.S. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Kansas State University.

David Mills
Vice President, Worldwide Sales
David Mills is responsible for leading the sales teams at IPLocks and brings with him more than 18 years of leadership experience in international sales and marketing, having held senior positions at Toshiba, Memorex Telex and Wyse. In his previous roles, David has managed successful sales teams selling to both corporate customers and indirect channels through out the world.

Akio Sakamoto
Founder
Akio Sakamoto founded IPLocks in 2002, with over 30 years of technology-related business experience with global companies. Mr. Sakamoto has extensive expertise in operations, sales, marketing, business development and product development working with companies such as NEC, HolonTech and Auraline. At NEC Corporation he was successful in creating, managing and growing several divisions within the company. During his tenure, Mr. Sakamoto developed several new business units that produced over 100 million dollars of revenue. Relocating to the U.S. in 1987 he led the US business activities, worldwide R&D and sales programs for the company as General Manager at the Network Division of NEC America. Prior to establishing IPLocks, was the CEO at Auraline, Inc., and CEO/Founder at HolonTech Corporation. Mr. Sakamoto holds over 35 patents.

Ralph Ungermann
Chairman
A recognized Silicon Valley visionary and pioneer in data networking and telecommunications, Ralph Ungermann made his mark leading the Intel team that developed the classic 8080 chip. In addition, Mr. Ungermann co-founded Ungermann-Bass Networks, where he introduced the world's first Ethernet router, Ethernet chipset, Token Ring chipset and the intelligent hub. In 1974, he founded Zilog and introduced the legendary Z80 microprocessor, which ran the vast majority of first-generation personal computers and paved the way for an entirely new segment of the personal computer market. Mr. Ungermann co-founded First Virtual Communications (NASDAQ: FVCX) in 1993 and is currently Chairman of the Board of Strix Systems, Inc., a wireless LAN networking company.

Agnieszka Winkler
Vice-Chairman
Agnieszka Winkler's 30 years of marketing and advertising experience led to the founding and successful sale of TeamToolz, a marketing collaboration and workflow software company to Artesia Technologies. Prior to starting TeamToolz, Ms. Winkler was founder and CEO of Winkler Advertising, a successful San Francisco advertising agency. Her clients included Sony, Hewlett-Packard and 21st Century Insurance, among others. Ms. Winkler is currently on the Board of Trustees of Santa Clara University, the Board of Directors of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and the Board of Directors of the Committee of 200. She is the author of "Warp Speed Branding: The Impact of Technology on Marketing" (Wiley and Sons Inc.).

Mr. Hiroaki Baba
Since July 2002, Mr. Baba has been a Director of Academy Capital Investments, a venture capital company with a focus on information technology industries. In addition, since March 2000, Mr. Baba has also operated his own consulting firm, supporting initial public offering projects in Japan. Prior to joining Academy Capital Investments in 2002, from 1996 to 2000, Mr. Baba served as the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Cisco Systems in Japan. Prior to that, Mr. Baba’s professional career also included working as a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at LEGENT Japan and as a Finance Manager at Lehman Brothers Securities. Mr. Baba holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Otaru University of Commerce in Japan.

Takaaki Nagayama
Since 1999, Mr. Nagayama has served as the President, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of SunBridge Corporation, a venture capital and consulting company. Since co-founding SunBridge, Mr. Nagayama has served as the chief investment officer and invested in more than 40 companies, including G-Mode, Macromill and Salesforce.com. Before co-founding SunBridge, Mr. Nagayama served as the Vice President of the Asia Products Division of Oracle Corporation. Mr. Nagayama holds a B.S. degree in Engineering from Tokyo University.

Hideaki Sashiwa
In 2003, Mr. Sashiwa founded Nippon Concierge K.K., an investment consulting firm, where he currently serves as Representative Director. In addition, in 2006, Mr. Sashiwa founded Raiden Corporation, a movie content provider, where he currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Since 2005, he has also served as a director of Nikkatsu Corporation, a motion picture company and as auditor for JP-Holdings, Inc., a JASDAQ-listed consumer and entertainment service company. From 1993 to 2003, Mr. Sashiwa worked in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs (Japan) Ltd. in Tokyo, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the International Equities Department. In addition, from 1989 to 1993, Mr. Sashiwa managed the Japan Desk at Goldman Sachs International in London. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1989, Mr. Sashiwa served as a senior sales manager at Kleinwort Benson, a United Kingdom merchant bank, and, from 1983 to 1986, he served as a financial consultant at Daiwa Securities, a financial consulting firm. Mr. Sashiwa holds a B.S. degree in Commerce from Waseda University.

Professor Brian Collins
Head of Information Systems Department, DCMT, Cranfield University, UK.
Professor Collins's current personal research center on the design and engineering of structured, secure and dependable knowledge and information management processes and systems using next generation information and communications technology (ICT). He is currently a Vice President of the British Computer Society. He was one the technical advisers to the DTI on a Foresight Cybertrust and Crime Prevention project, and as an Associate Fellow of RIIA Chatham House he is advising on Future Global Security issues. He also has held the position of Director of Technology at GCHQ.

Nicholas Imparato, PhD

Nicholas Imparato, PhD is a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University and Professor of Marketing and Management at the School of Business and Management, University of San Francisco. He is an award winning educator, corporate executive, author and sought-after speaker in the areas of macro-environment influences, including brand strategy and valuation, innovation and leadership, database security and governance. He has conducted seminars in over 30 countries and has had extensive experience working with leaders in both the public and private sectors. Dr. Imparato has served as a member of the board of directors and an advisor for Business for Diplomatic Action (New York), as co-leader of the Homeland Security Initiative for the Bay Area Economic Forum and as a member of the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force in San Francisco.

Michael Gertz, PhD
Associate Professor of Computer Science, UC Davis
Professor Gertz specializes in databases and information systems with a focus on management of scientific data, data integrity and quality, and database security. Within his responsibilities for database security, Professor Gertz emphasizes detection and prevention of insider misuse, database security re-engineering, trust management and authentic data publication scheme. He is a member of ACM, ACM SIGMOD, IEEE, and the Gesellschaft fuer Informatik (GI). He served as program co-chair of the IFIP TC 11.5 Working Conference on Integrity and Internal Control in Information Systems in 2001 and 2002, and he is co-chair of the 10th International Conference on Information Quality (ICIQ'05).
